The sag characteristics and the strength-to-weight ratio of the AAAC conductor cable is better than both AAC and ACSR. Capable of handling extremely high voltages, this overhead transmission wire is also preferred in scenarios when heavy ampacity is needed. This cable is most ideal for high voltage use in coastal areas, or areas with high winds or frequent storms.
