What is BFOU(c) S104 Cable

NEK606 BFOU(c) S104 (formerly S4 or S4/S8) cable is a collective screen fire-resistant offshore cable for instrumentation on offshore platform and oil rigs. BFOU(c) S104 cable is rated at 150/250V and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +90°C. This cable incorporates mica glass tape (MGT), which acts as a fire barrier, enabling the cable to provide uninterrupted power or signals during a fire in accordance with IEC 60331-21 standards. Our these offshore cables  have been approved and certified by ABS (American Bureau of Shipping).
