What is RE-2X(St)HSWAH

RE-2X(St)HSWAH PIMF / TIMF cable is used for communication and instrumentation purposes in industries including oil exploration, cement, paper, steel, power generation, and others. It is also employed in intrinsically safe systems within hazardous areas such as petrochemical plants and thermal power stations to monitor measurement equipment in process automation applications. HFFR types exhibit low combustibility during fires, are largely self-extinguishing, produce low smoke density, and do not release toxic or corrosive gases when exposed to fire. Armored types provide mechanical strength and protect cable cores from external mechanical impacts.



These cables connect instrumentation and control systems to transmit analog or digital signals, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. They must not be directly connected to mains power or other low-impedance power sources, as they are not designed for power supply purposes.
