What is H07RN-F Cable?

H07RN-F Cable is a heavy-duty rubber flexible cable that is designed for electrical power supply that has a voltage rating of 450/750V. H07RN-F power cables are manufactured with a conductive copper core, ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) insulation and a polychloroprene (PCP) outer sheath. Therefore it provides high flexibility and is able to withstand chemical, mechanical and thermal stresses. H07RN-F cable is suitable for applications such as handling equipment, mobile power supplies, construction sites, stage and audio visual equipment, port areas and dams. Finally, H07RN-F Cable mains leads are considered heavy duty and flame retardant, as a result the leads are suitable for use in severe industrial environments.

The definition of H07RN-F Cable is a harmonised code according to the standard of the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation (CENELEC) to provide a standardised specification for electrical leads:

H – means conformity to harmonised standards

H07RN-F Cable Applications:

H07RN-F Rubber Cable is designed primarily as a trailing cable for use in the supply of energy for portable or mobile equipment. Heavy duty Harmonized cables are not only robust but also extremely flexible. PCP neoprene is also oil and flame retardant. Typical applications of the H07RN-F cable include transformers, pumps, welders, grinders, temporary lighting cable and feed cables to heavy mobile equipment.

Main H07RN-F Cable Cores

H07RN-F Cable is available with either a single core design or multi-core design. Typically, single core mains cables are used for higher current ratings as one line will be used for each of the three phases plus neutral and earth. Standard multi-core lines are available with 2 cores, 3 cores, 4 cores or 5 cores, however some manufacturers offer rubber flexible cable variants with up to 19 conductive cores.
