What is SJEOOW Cable

The letters SJEOOW denote particular properties of the cable:

S for Service

J for Junior (300 Volts)

E for Thermoplastic Elastomer

OO for Oil-resistant insulation and Oil-resistant jacket

W for Weather and Water resistance.

SJEOOW Portable Cord is rated to 300 volts and has a temperature range of –50ºC to 105ºC. These characteristics make SOOW Portable Cord an excellent choice for mitigating outdoor factors that would otherwise alter the performance of wire or cable.

Application of Type SJEOOW Cable:

Construction of Type SJEOOW Cable:

The type SJEOOW has flexible stranded copper conductors, with colour-coded TPE rubber insulation cabled with fillers as needed. A separator is applied over conductors and fillers. Overall TPE Rubber jacket.
