What is CCS Cable?

CCS Cable also called copper-clad steel cable, comprise copper-clad steel wires, available in solid or concentric stranded configurations. Utilising high-tensile steel wires with a copper cladding thickness accounting for 25% of the cross-sectional area, they deliver superior electrical conductivity, robust corrosion resistance, and thermal stability. Primarily employed within the cable industry, they combine the high mechanical strength and rigidity of steel with the corrosion resistance and conductivity of copper. Copper-clad steel wire is a composite material produced through pressure rolling, bonding copper metallurgy to a steel core.
