Lead Covered Wire Description:

Lead covered wire, also known as lead-sheathed cable or lead-covered earthing cable, used High-conductivity soft-drawn stranded copper wire which made in accordance with BS EN 13601 (previously BS1432-C101), completely encased within a lead sheath (Pb). Lead covered wire Mainly applicable to horizontal grounding for power plant and substation and other occasion where requires low grounding resistance and high acid/alkali corrosion.

Shape: circular
Flexibility: stranded, class 2 according to EN 60228 (IEC 60228)
Maximum temperature: 160°C in short circuit
