2XS(FL)2Y & A2XS(FL)2Y Cable

2XS(FL)2Y & A2XS(FL)2Y Cable Description:

2XS(FL)2Y and A2XS(FL)2Y cable is single core hv cables , voltages include 26/45kV (Um 52kV), 36/60kV (Um 72.5kV), 64/110kV (Um 123kV), and 76/132kV (Um 145kV). Copper 2XS(FL)2Y cable and Aluminium A2XS(FL)2Y cable both have Class 2 stranded conductors, insulated with XLPE. The XLPE provides for a maximum conductor operating temperature of +90℃ and aids operation at both high and low temperatures. 



Designed for buried in-ground installations in cable ducts, these HV cables are provided with dual waterblocking properties either side of the metallic screen, to help minimise and mitigate any water ingress. Longitudinal swellable tapes are there to prevent the capillary action at any joint or termination, whilst additional waterblocking from a copolymer laminate bonded to the outer sheath in effect 'self-heals' microscopic damage from perforations at sheath level.
