Type 240 Rubber Mining Cable Description:

Type 240 rubber mining cable is a highly flexible rubber-insulated power cable specifically designed for heavy-duty applications in harsh mining environments. It operates within a voltage range of 1.1kV to 11kV （Type 240.1 - 1.1kV ，Type 240.3 - 3.3kV ，Type 240.6 - 6.6kV， Type 240.11 - 11kV）and a temperature range of -25°C to 90°C. All cables feature flexible tinned copper conductors. Each cable comprises three insulated conductors and one monitoring conductor: the monitoring conductor provides reinforcement, enabling longer transmission distances without compromising connectivity. Should the applied current be minimal, the monitoring conductor may also be utilised for operational monitoring. Featuring ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) insulation and a durable chloroprene rubber (PCP) or PVC outer sheath, it offers resistance to oil, abrasion and ultraviolet radiation.
